BOUNCE Back - by focusing on the things that are in your control.
If you're recovering from a setback or an injury, it can be easy to feel like a victim of a bad event, or something that may have been out of your control completely. Don't let this get the best of you!
There are still so many things within your control that you can stay focused on, such as eating a healthy diet, drinking enough water and focusing on nourishing foods and planning healthy meals to get you through the weeks, and offset not being able to exercise as much. You can also control the variety of exercise that you can do, despite the fact that you maybe limited in your regular exercise routines.
It's a great idea to get a trainer or coach during this time to help keep your mentality strong and positive, and to help get your confidence back.

BOUNCE Back - by staying positive and staying social
If you're recovering from a setback or an injury, remember that this is only a temporary time in your life, and you will return back to some normalcy. Stay positive and stay social! Continue to make plans with friends and family, as much as you're able to. Regularly seeing and speaking with loved ones, can help ward off feelings of being down and out.
By practicing gratitude, you can bring acceptance to the situation you are in, and remind yourself of what this time in your life has allowed you to do and accomplish. Such as spending time with loved ones, a break from work, or finishing that good movie or book you have been meaning to read.
Keep a positive attitude and look towards the bright side.

BOUNCE Back - by having patience
If you are recovering from a setback or an injury, taking it slow & steady, and having patience goes a long way!
Although healing is likely going to take longer than you'd like, pushing to get back to your regular activities too hard, too fast will only make the risk of relapse or re-injury, a more likely event. This may be hard to swallow, but acknowledging and respecting your body and mind's need to process pain, heal and taking things day by day will reward you in the long run.
Going after things too soon can lead to chronic problems. It's more important to understand your journey to recovery with the guidance and help of professionals and being realistic with plans and goals, your level of effort and commitment, to ease you back into the game.
