Hey Members!

It’s that time of year again when it gets dark earlier, nights get cooler, and Lakehead Archers memberships expire….

Our year ends on August 31, so renewals are due on September 1. Forms will be available on our website and at the club in a few days. I’ll also be emailing them out next week, so if you don’t receive it but need it sent to you please send me a message.

As a reminder, if your form and payment isn’t received by the end of September, your code will be deactivated and you won’t be eligible for a pro-rated amount if/when you decide to renew.

If you won’t be renewing this year, you have until September 30 to return your key for a refund of your deposit otherwise it will be forfeited.

Full house on the outdoor range. Seven participants in the Archery Canada Outdoor Mailmatch had some amazing weather to shoot their scores tonight. Welcome to Jesse, who got a robinhood in his first round submitted for score.
Shane with a high end score of 54/60 and a personal best round of 564/720 with the barebow.
Adrianna has improved over 100 points since she started with her recurve.

Another successful session with a youth group from the Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre. This time, they tried out some traditional equipment to challenge their skills. Thanks to President Joe for the great coaching!

Lakehead Archers were invited to be a part of the Presbycamp, located at Camp Duncan on East Loon Lake. 34 campers, aged 8-15 years old, experienced archery for the first time. Lots of smiles and memories were made. Thank you for such an amazing afternoon.
