So excited to dive into this MELT Method Fascia Hydrator™ certification.

What interests me most is that the Fascia Hydrator isn’t simply another piece of equipment for working on fascial tension. It takes the MELT work further, using vibration and frequency to influence the sensory relationship between the fascial and nervous systems.

The training also explores ways to support lymphatic flow, influence vagal tone, and improve whole-body regulation — all of which can play a role in how we feel and move.

What I love about this is how it can enhance the work we’re already doing and help create meaningful change for our clients.

Tight hips?

Stretching is often the first thing we think of.

But there’s another way to approach hip mobility.

Rather than simply trying to create more range, we can look at what helps the hip move well: hydration and fascial glide, muscle activation, strength, stability, balance and proprioception.

Then we bring those pieces together through movement that asks the hip to move — and control that movement — in different directions.

The goal isn’t simply a more flexible hip. It’s a hip that’s strong, adaptable and ready for everyday movement.

Sometimes the answer to a “tight” hip isn’t another stretch. It’s a better movement strategy.

Happy 91st Birthday to my amazing mom, Myrna! ❤️

At 91 years young, she continues to remind me that we’re capable of so much more than we sometimes believe.

Watching her commitment to staying active has been such an inspiration—not just to me, but to everyone who knows her. Her strength, determination, and positive attitude are a beautiful reminder that age doesn’t have to define what we’re capable of.

I recently showed one of her Pilates videos to her great-grandson. He watched for a moment, then said, “I’m actually so impressed… Grammy, how do you do that?” ❤️

To me, that was the perfect birthday compliment.

Mom, thank you for showing us that it’s never too late to keep moving. Your strength, determination, and zest for life continue to inspire us all.

Happy 91st Birthday, Mom. I love you so much. ❤️
