Final regular night of the year car was good tonight. Heat 6 to 3 feature finished 16 was in a hornets 🐝 nest anywhere from 11th to 18. Was a lot of fun tonight. Had some visitors in the pits which was nice!! Looking at maybe going to Hibbing and Superior if funds allow. If anyone wants to help out our program to get some more races in before our Dirt Track Nationals. It would be greatly appreciated. Car is getting better each week!! Heat race was a lot of fun!!! Sunday thoughts!!! Something has been eating away at me since Wednesday. After the B mod feature I went up by the sea cans and watched the A mod feature. It was a clinic by Jody #11 there were some cautions ,and on one of them i heard a guy say “back markers again?” I thought to myself does this guy know what that driver was doing? I am sure he was trying. There is so much that goes into this sport. You need experience, mechanical aptitude,help, patience, aggressive skills, 💰. There is much more to it also. I thought about myself and somewhat being at the back of features. Is this what people think. We do this because for the most part love it. My brother does about 90% of the work on our car I could not do it without him. So sometimes maybe I should drive more aggressively but that leads to more work on the car for him. And more money!!! I am fortunate to have great sponsors who without there is zero chance I could still be doing this. Does that “back marker” want to be at the back No but there is way more too it!! Be kind !!! Have fun and I hope before I get too old that I can run up front!! I think I speak for most of us guys in the second half of the features . Thinking next summer will have more time to do this!!! If not we will just keep doing what we are doing and having fun!!! See you Wednesday Thunder City Speedway!!

Car is pretty good honestly better than the driver. Need to be more consistent with feature laps. Need more laps ,funds tell a different story. Hard to believe season over next week. Didn’t we just start?? Congrats fellow racers for showing up week after week. It is not easy. See you all next week!!!

Makkinga Contracting night drew 30 outside pole Heat 3 good start lead first lap and a bit then a broken steering part ended our heat. Started 13 in B moved to 6 car was good. We are definitely making some progress!!! Thanks to all who help.

Draw 12 thank to Kirk Coppock for drawing for me. Put us on pole for heat 4 lead 7.5 of 8 laps got passed by 27 I sort of panicked then our luck feature rains out. Complete new show tomorrow! Thank to everyone who came out to help. Car was good!! C u tommorow!!

Heat 9th bent a left front rim.
B main going into 1 everyone went sliding up tried getting on brakes not enough clipped car in front of me flat RF 🛞 junk rim cool 600$ Questioning why we do this. There is so much that has to go right for the average guy. Draw,who is in your heat, track conditions. 🍀. The top 10 guys are the top 10 the next 20 of us the variables have to be just right. It is hard ,it is frustrating. But running well is that high we are all chasing. I know to get to the upper level you have to race more. That requires time. Disposable 💰 cash and help. I really have a ton of respect for those guys who put in the miles and race more. There is a reason why they are better. Anyway rant over!! See you next week! On a plus that was our second dnf of year. Not bad.

B 4th to 5th held transfer for 10 or so laps screwed up a corner and got passed. Need to be better. You have to be fully invested in order to compete with this group of guys and gals. I need to get my act together. Thanks to my crew you guys are awesome!!! Try again next week!!!

Draw 76 back of heat again with 4 of top 6 in points ahead tough race moved up a couple spots. Track was very slippery.
B main start 6 finish 6 car was ok. On to the next one!
