Thank you to everyone who volunteered and also sponsored the FCSS and ATB Youth Appreciation. We had Calmar, Warburg and Thorsby high school students come out for afternoon and be fed a delicious lasagna lunch by The Last post (Ashley Gilbert)... We were honoured to be Entertained by Paul Woida professional Looper and musical artist and Carla Cuglietta guest speaker and humanitarian . Carla is the cofounder for the Young Leaders and well known for her work with Youth.. Our sponsors were ATB , Tim and Iris McBride...Logis IT Solutions, Lone Wolf Mechanics, Thorsby Lions, Councillor Ivor Foster and MP Gerald Soroka ....Door prizes were donated by Kollbrook Esso, Dr. Tran Davies, Black Gold School Division, Town of Thorsby , Town Of Calmar, County of Leduc, Thorsby Recreation, Coffee Pucks and Poutine Canteen, Rabbit Hill Ski Resort, Nathan Raymond and Sam’s Balloons . ...Thank you to the Thorsby Historical and Cultural Society for donating all the pop and cheesecake , and also thanks to Leduc County Food Bank for the Ice cream cups and squares for dessert!
