🌧️🏁 RACING CANCELLED FOR TONIGHT — SATURDAY, AUGUST 22ND 🏁🌧️

Unfortunately, Mother Nature has won this one.

With the current rain at Flamboro Speedway and the forecast calling for more unsettled weather throughout the day, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s racing program.

We know how much everyone was looking forward to NorHeat Treatment Night, featuring the Ontario Sportsman Series Precision Edge 100 presented by KAM Wire EDM Technologies, along with the Can-Am Midgets, Ontario Pro Challenge Series presented by NorHeat Treatment Inc., Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stocks, Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stocks and Kids Bike Races.

We always want to give our competitors and fans as much notice as possible, especially with many teams travelling a considerable distance to race with us.

A huge thank you to all of our competitors, fans, sponsors and staff for their understanding and continued support.

Stay tuned to our social media pages for any updates regarding tonight’s scheduled events.

Race Recap at OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY

The night started off rough, but thankfully got better as the evening progressed.

Time trials we got sent out in the muck. We caught a car going much slower than anticipated, had to make a last minute ditch effort to get out of the way and jumped over the berm. This essentially effected both our laps putting us in the Bmain.

Started 4th in that. Was just going to ride around and stay out of trouble. Just had to finish in the top 8. Unfortunately the riding was just going to slow so I decide to make not 1 but 2 attempts to pass this same car in time trails and both times almost got wrecked in the process. Finally we got by and finished 2nd.

Feature race we started 22nd. In a green to checkered race we managed to pick up some spots running the bottom of all places finishing 17th. We also ran one of my fastest laps at Ohsweken last night. So I guess the motor is good! (Track conditions also helped that 🤣)

Met some great people in a packed autograph session as well! Thanks to Jason for bringing some mini checkered flags for me to handout with my hero cards. Great seeing Ryan and his son from the Injury Rehabilitation Centre to take in a night at the track!

Race Day at OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY!

Christmas in August and the final race for the FanFest Series! That means it’s also autograph night!!! Big night at the track so come on out! The Summer is winding down, only a few more weeks left in the season!

Race Recap at Flamboro Speedway-Authorized Page

Feature 1 we started 10th. After a quick yellow we started to make our way towards the front. Had some issues coming through the middle of the pack and lost a ton of track position. But we manage to charge back up to the lead pack and pick up a couple more spots before the end of the race finishing 6th.

Feature 2 we started 9th. Car felt really good and it showed…. We ran some very consistent lap times and picked our way up to 3rd. 1 more lap I think we could have got 2nd, but great run by Jake to hold me off coming to the checkered. We settled for 3rd.

Thankfully we had a clean night as we had a ton of work to do on the mini to get ready for this weekend coming. Shout out again to all my sponsors for helping out this year!
