Take the rare opportunity to master your skills of working against and with edged weapons, impact weapons, spike weapons, and training fi****ms.

Practice at various distances, positions, and speeds. Learn the dangers each weapon presents, how to protect yourself against them, recognize the signs of a pending attack, and ways to prevent it.

• How to work against stabs, cuts, single jabs, and shanking

In Systema, we train at middle speed, not necessarily slowly. It looks slow because the movements are smooth and relaxed.

Speed has to be reasonable so that you understand where the movement was wrong and are able to learn. Understanding liberates you from fear and tension. So, what seems slow is actually calm.
