She did it, so proud of her to push through and finish in a great time 17hr 59min, course was a very challenging single track for most of it with a high temp of the day of 36! Placed 655 overall out of 1139 with 267 that DNF. In the female category placed 103. She had to carry all her supplies as she had no drop bag options in this race.
Auntie Heather who is the one that got Ally and Josh into these crazy ultra marathons to begin with also did the 50km category 34k distance today just to say she still can do it and also had a great run, congrats Heather and Ally! So amazing to see.

And she’s off! Ally’s time to tackle the UTMB world series 100km race, running the Restonica trail in Corte, Corsica France! 69km total distance. Elevation gain of 3946m and back to same spot for finish of 3946m loss.
1122 racers, 6 from Canada.
Let’s go Ally, you got this!

He did it!
Congrats Josh for finishing the UTMB world series 100 miles running the Pyrenees mountains in Spain! Josh placed 127 out of 724 racers and 363 racers DNF.
Total rest time in aid stations 2hrs 9 min.
Elevation gain of 10398m (34,114ft) and back down to same place started.
So proud of this accomplishment just incredible. Time was 36hrs 6min 48s with an average speed of
4.5km/hr.
He is somehow feeling great other than his feet are pretty messed up.
We were just a cheering squad along the way and Taylor did a fantastic job as his crew member at the 3 aid station’s.

Last crew aid stop is done and we will be waiting at the finish line now. He has a major climb to do over 4km then home stretch. 15km to the finish line. This man is a beast out there.

114km completed so far, 23hrs 48min. Grinding through this changing course. Currently 180 out of 724 racers. Only 7 racers from Canada.
This is insane the mental challenge we are witnessing. They say this is one of if not the hardest 100mile race in the world. So proud of how he’s doing and how he has found it in him to continue so far. Can’t even describe what we are watching with these racers battling through this. Go Josh go!

We are in vielha Spain! Josh is running the UTMB world series race 163km ultra marathon in the Pyrenees mountains. It has over 10,000m of elevation. Carter is also doing the race. Good luck to both and hopefully they are able to complete this gruelling challenge without any injuries. Link below of the race

Spring 2026 group hunt opening available! A few tags have recently opened up, giving the opportunity to bring a full group up for your own dedicated week.
Pictured here is a group recovery on a beauty bear from the spring. Definitely thankful for the extra hands getting him out of the thick bush and swamp!
Please email, DM, text or call for details about the hunt.

Going through some photos from the past few years we never got around to posting, and this one still stands out!
Parker was adamant about holding out for a big mature bear. After a few slower sits with only younger bears on the bait, which can happen when a big boar is around, he never wavered.
Midway through his sit on day four, this brute finally showed up and Parker made it count.
Congrats on a tank archery bear Parker, that’s how it’s done!

🇨🇦 2026 SPRING BEAR – LIMITED TAGS AVAILABLE 🇨🇦
📍 Northern Manitoba
We recently had a few additional tags open up for this spring.
Pictured here is our good friend Keith with his archery bear.
The past few seasons have been incredible for mature bear activity and consistent success. With limited hunting pressure last year due to wildfires, this spring is shaping up to be a good one.
