Looking for something new this winter?

The Canadian Ski Patrol is recruiting volunteers for the 2026-27 season. If you enjoy skiing or snowboarding, want to build valuable first aid skills, and are looking to be part of a great team, this could be the opportunity for you.

As a volunteer patroller, you'll receive:
• Staff Pass
• First Aid Training
• Leadership Opportunities
• Team Events
• Reciprocal Passes

Volunteering with the Canadian Ski Patrol is a rewarding way to give back to the Shames Mountain community while developing skills, gaining experience, and creating lasting friendships.

We're currently hiring for a variety of positions across the mountain.

Please note that all applicants must already have the legal right to live and work in Canada. Shames Mountain does not sponsor work permits or visas and is unable to assist applicants in obtaining authorization to work in Canada.

Our 2026-2027 starting wages range from $18.25 to $23.00 per hour, depending on the position and qualifications. Please note for the Ski Patrol Director position, the wage range is $22.00 to $26.50 per hour.
