On to Day 2 of the 9U "A" Provincials in Tecumseh. Some great ball on Friday, including the Tecumseh Rangers 9U Travel winning both games. Please come out and support your community by cheering on these young athletes from aroud the province.

We are wishing our 8U Rep Team and our 9U Rep Team the best of luck as they participate this weekend at Provincial OBA's. Our 8U team is competing for the big prize in Leamington, and our 9U has home field advantage here in Tecumseh, looking to repeat on their win last season. Go Rangers!

TMBA is proud to host the Provincial 9U "A" tournament starting today. To see some of the best 9 yr old baseball in Ontario, please see the attached schedule for today, and come cheer these kids on at Carling Park, Optimist Park, and Town Hall North diamonds. Games at Noon, 3pm, and 5:45pm.

Going into their final weekend of baseball for the season, the 11U Tecumseh Rangers Select team brought hard work, perseverance and energy to take home a 1st place win at the TMBA Summer Showdown. They battled a strong LaSalle Turtle Club team in the Championship game to pull off a 12-9 victory!

Congratulations to our own 18U OBA Champions. Coach Seguin and his Team travelled to Clarington to compete this past weekend. These young men, battled all weekend, going 5-0 to make it to the finals. Scoring 52-23, over those 5 games. Sunday in the Finals, they met up with a 4-1 great Team from Wyoming Minor Baseball Association, that would need to beat Tecumseh Twice to take championship. First Game they defeated Tecumseh 12-2. For the Second Game, they changed into their Rangers Red, and prepared for a winner takes it all battle. A game for the ages ensued. Going Down 4, coming back to take a 6-4 lead into the 5th. Knotted at 6-6 in the 6th. Tied in the 7th, going to extras. In the 8th, Wyoming went out to a whopping 11-6 Lead. Down by 5, the Rangers held their heads high and battled. With Two out, in the 8th, they narrowly missed a walk of Home Run to deep center. The ball hit the fence and they settled for a Game tying Double. 11-11 Still Alive... . With all the emotions of the tie, the rangers Stole third, and then tried to steal home for the win,........ But Failed. In the top of the 9th, the defence held strong, going 3 up and 3 down. The Rangers kept it rolling in the bottom side of the inning, and the offence put pressure on the other team right away. A Su***de Squeeze just going foul, got the crowd back into it right away. Next a failed attempt at winning getting thrown out at home. (All 76 viewers on Game changer still say he was safe) . But a few batters later, a mishandled single to the shortstop, and the Rangers Won 12-11.
Thanks to all the parents, players, and coaches, for a memorable season, and a final TMBA Travel Career. Shout out to the 6 original Rookie kids that are still playing Travel ball with Tecumseh Rangers and Coach Seguin and his Staff.

NEW for the 2027 Season - THUNDER 17u

The TBC 17u program provides additional opportunities for players to compete within the Thunder Program while continuing to develop with a USA Model approach (smaller roster, tournament play) in a highly competitive environment.

The team participate in Local and Ontario travel competition and tournaments across Ontario and the United States throughout the spring and summer. FAAAST (Michigan) and PBR (Michigan) Events will be the USA Tournaments of choice.

The TBC 17u team will be permitted to carry a roster of up to 16 players.

17u will split game / practice times at Lacasse Park and Tecumseh Arena (Town Hall South).

The TBC Thunder 18u team competes in the Premier Baseball League of Ontario (PBLO), recognized as one of Canada’s top amateur baseball leagues.

The 18u Team will participate in PBLO league play (May - June), PBLO showcase Championship event (July), and high-level tournaments throughout Michigan and Ohio. (June / July).

The 18u Team then enters the Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) National Qualifier with the opportunity to represent Ontario at a Baseball Canada National Championship.

All tryouts will be held at Lacasse Baseball Park
