Brule Point Golf

Last call for tonight’s glow golf!! We do have a couple team slots available so get a crew of 4 together and give the shop a call! It is an awesome time and a much different take on golf. We will be starting at dark so check in right around dusk between 8:30 and 9. Or you can pop in to hear some tunes from Maurice to get the night started!

Fantastic show on tap Friday night at the Point! Music starts at 7!

About a week back we mentioned about some big news with details to come, well today’s the day!! The moment our crew has been waiting for all year and superintendent Matt has been waiting for over 18 years. Owen Frye irrigation has started to put in lines to our greens which is a massive step to keeping the course in tip top shape. Not only can we get more water on the greens, but also save about 7 hours a day of hand watering green to green. Those hours will be able to be used to do the little things that we just normally don’t have the time for. With that being said, they will be on course during play for the next week or so. We ask you be patient with their crew as it may be painful at the moment but in the long run a massive step for the club. Please be mindful of where they are when you play your shots and also watch for holes and trenches they have dug. They have been good for moving out of the way but also feel free to skip over them, play another hole twice or just take the extra minute or 2 for them to move out of the way. We appreciate your patience and hope you are as excited as we are!

We’ll remember how last year we didn’t get any rain? That wasn’t the only drought around here last year. There wasn’t a single hole in one last year. Well when it rains it pours. Craig MacDonald got to witness Niall put his in last week and this week he carded his own with a witness. I say with a witness because, while playing a solo round sunday he actually got his first hole in one with only his dog as a witness. Craig decided against mentioning it but having dropped one with a witness he couldn’t withhold it and we don’t blame him because 2 holes in one, in the span of 3 days is incredible and I don’t know if I ever heard of 2 Hi1’s coming from the same sleeve of balls!

Wednesday Morning: The Junior Clinic continues!

Wednesday Evening: Ladies Night! Summer is dwindling down so come get a round in with the women of Brule!

Thursday evening: Mens night. We had a very large turnout last week so lets keep the momentum going!

Friday evening: We have Maurice Aucoin playing some music in the clubhouse 7-9! And directly after: GLOW GOLF! If you haven’t tried this yet you got to give it a go! You know that feeling when you pure a drive and watch it go? You should give it a try when it’s literally burning through the night sky. So cool. Sign up in the Clubhouse!

Saturday there is a private tournament on the course at 2 pm so no tee-times between 11am and 3pm!

Unfortunately for tonight’s rambling men, Off the Grill had something unexpected pop up so they will not be serving for rambling men, but quin is now a certified hot dog roller in the clubhouse and will be serving up some dogs for those who have skipped dinner! See you soon!!

We made it. Entertainment in the clubhouse tonight to kick off a large Brule Point weekend! The Ramblin Men! Lets get this Friday Night goin!

Tomorrow we are back with a double header concert! Joe Pinto will be running the BBQ pit and it will be a large saturday with 2 epic sets of music!

If you have seen the forecast you know sunday is a little dicey so everyone pray for a big change. 🙏⛈️

As August is winding down it’s time to make the most of Golf season so come get those swings in right away!

A few showers on the course yesterday afternoon has everything feeling fresh!

Mens night tonight! I don’t want to alarm anyone but it’s mid august so better come get a round in with the boys!

Big weekend coming up on the Point too, I hope everyone is ready!

Friday Night the Ramblin Men will be rocking the clubhouse getting things started.

Saturday is our double-header concert with Fiddles and Feet to open and then Charlie A'Court takes the stage with his Folk’n Blues Song Circle!

Things are so action packed and we have one more really exciting big surprise to share with you soon! 🤫 Just gonna leave you in suspense for a short while.

We had some noise made on course today! Young Niall Dingwell made his first ever hole-in-one on the 9th hole today and also first of the season by anybody at the club. If you see him at the course or out in the wild make sure to give him a big congratulations 🥳 Witnessed by Craig MacDonald
