Although this message comes a little later than planned, now that the auditing and financial books for the Swift Current 55+ Games are officially complete, we would like to take a moment to once again thank everyone who supported the 55+ Games hosted in Swift Current last summer.
As a committee, we committed to putting our excess funds toward initiatives that help keep seniors active and engaged. We felt there was no better way to do that than by supporting some of the local groups that contributed to the Games, along with the Southwest Foundation Facility, whose work will benefit people of all ages in our community.
We are proud to announce the following donations from the Swift Current 55+ Games Committee:

* The Social Bowl — $1,000
* Swift Current Pickleball — $1,000
* Southwest Foundation Facility — $10,000
Once again, thank you, Swift Current. The success of the 55+ Games would not have been possible without the incredible support, volunteers, organizations, businesses and community members who came together to make it happen.
