Great few days in Edmundston for the NBG team last weekend!!

Excellents quelques jours à Edmundston pour l’équipe du NBG le week-end dernier!!

Busy weekend for NBG!

Some of the boys braved the crazy heat and raced the DH Race to the Barn #1 in Wentworth NS on Saturday.

Then on Sunday, some of the crew took on the Super Rad Race Enduro at Rockwood Park.

Huge shoutout to everyone who got out there this weekend. Awesome racing, great vibes, and a lot of fun!

Wishing teammate, Liam Hovey , a speedy recovery after his crash today. Fast as hell and tough as nails!

We are so proud of our teammate Liam Hovey, recipient of the 2025 Phil Allen Award!

Liam joined NB Gravity Racing in 2025 and has been an awesome addition to our team. He is known for his aggressive riding style, laser focus and incredible work ethic, but what we appreciate most is the teammate he is.

Liam is dependable, works hard and is always someone we can count on. He brings so much to our team, on and off the bike, and we are very proud to see him recognized with this award.

Liam s’est joint à NB Gravity Racing en 2025 et il a été un super ajout à notre équipe. Il est reconnu pour son style de pilotage agressif, sa grande concentration et son incroyable éthique de travail, mais ce que nous apprécions le plus, c’est le coéquipier qu’il est.

Liam est fiable, travaille fort et est toujours quelqu’un sur qui nous pouvons compter. Il apporte beaucoup à notre équipe, sur le vélo comme à l’extérieur, et nous sommes très fiers de le voir recevoir cette reconnaissance.

🎖The Phil Allen Award is presented to two young athletes who have shown exceptional dedication and improvement over the past year.

Our male recipient of the Phil Allen Award is Liam Hovey from team NB Gravity Racing.

In just his third season of competitive racing, Liam showed tremendous growth both as an athlete and as an individual. Despite the pressures and challenges of competitive racing environments, he continued to push himself outside his comfort zone with determination and resilience.

In 2025, Liam earned multiple top-10 finishes and four podium results, including second place at the New Brunswick Provincial Downhill Championships.

Beyond his race results, Liam is a positive presence in the cycling community, supporting younger riders and participating in local programs and events.

🎖Le prix Phil Allen est remis à deux jeunes athlètes ayant fait preuve d'un dévouement et d'une progression exceptionnels au cours de la dernière année.

Le lauréat masculin du prix Phil Allen est Liam Hovey, de l'équipe NB Gravity Racing.

Dès sa troisième saison de compétition, Liam a démontré une progression remarquable, tant sur le plan sportif que personnel. Malgré la pression et les défis inhérents à la compétition, il a su repousser ses limites avec détermination et persévérance.

En 2025, Liam a réalisé plusieurs performances parmi les dix premiers et quatre podiums, dont une deuxième place aux Championnats provinciaux de descente du Nouveau-Brunswick.

Au-delà de ses résultats en compétition, Liam est un membre actif et positif de la communauté cycliste. Il soutient les jeunes cyclistes et participe à des programmes et événements locaux.
