How do we top this Saturday morning???!!!

This morning we got to share our love for ballooning with 2 very special people in our lives! Our “Bus Parents (grandparents to Cha),” Shawney & Andy McLean!
Along with sharing our passion, they, along with our girl Keira Dunfield, helped us set up and pack up our system.

If that wasn’t a special enough moment, Samantha Morrell and I got to watch our husbands share the sky together, beside all of our other best friends!
Pretty amazing feeling!

Sussex Balloonatics Bat for a Cause was a success!

Local Sussex Pilots and Crew traded our burners for bats, while a local ball team volunteered their time to help us raise money for a local family!

With the help of the community that came to watch us, we were able to raise $1,350 for the family, all the while having fun. We enjoyed some laughs, team spirit and made some new memories! We played while it rained and boy, was that rain welcomed to cool us off in the heat!

A huge thank you to Stephanie McFarlane and to Samantha Armstrong, for all the hard work of organizing this event. To John Walsh and the Rookies, for joining in on the fun and helping this great cause. It wasn’t competitive, it was all just great fun! And to everyone that took part in the 50/50, made a donation and who came out to watch, even sticking it out in the rain, THANK YOU!

We have said it before and we will say it again, this is why we love our community sooooo very much! Sussex has heart! Thank you for your continued local support! 🩵

Sussex Balloonatics Bat For A Cause. Today 2:30pm at Carr Field. 50/50 will be floating around and donations will be accepted to help a local family!

This morning felt like a full circle moment.
When I (Stevie) was as a kid, Marta gave me my first job as a babysitter. Just her son Mason at first and then Cole too, once he came along.

This morning we got to take Marta (now a new Nanny) and Todd for flight and they got meet our daughter.

They have waited 2 years for their flight. We are so happy Mother Nature finally gave us some grace to get them up this morning!
It was another perfect morning. 🎈

As always, we are never far from helping hands. Thank you all of our amazing crew!

We are full for the 2026 season unless we have a cancellation, thank you so very much for your trust in Up We Go.

A special thank you to all our land owners in advance for allowing us to launch and land our aircraft on your property, without you we would not be able to do what we do.

We will begin flying on the weekend of May 22nd. Watch the skies and you might see a new balloon or two flying around with us!! 🎈🎈🎈

Hello everyone,

We are excited to begin our 2026 flying season, we will start in late May and finish at the end of October.

We will have morning and evening flights available they will be on a first come first served basis.

All flights will be booked through our page.

We can accommodate (3) passengers at a time providing their combined weight is 600lbs or less.

A typical balloon ride lasts 45 minutes to an hour and reach 500 feet-2500 feet off the ground depending on the weather conditions at the time.

Price is $350.00 per passenger tax included
Payment must be made in full before the flight begins. Cash or etransfer are both accepted.

A 50% deposit is required when booking and is refundable if your flight is cancelled.

That’s right folks! We have had our gift certificates closed for quite some time. So we are now limited to only 10!

Here’s how it works…
Price of flight is $350.00 taxes in per person.
We can take 3 passengers at a combined weight of 650lbs.
Your gift certificate can be for 1-3 people.

Once the 10 gift certificate are gone that’s it!

A reminder, gift certificates are nonrefundable but can be transferable.
