For generations, Whalley Little League has been more than a place to play baseball. It has been a place where kids grow up, families come together, friendships are made and lifelong memories are created.

That legacy only continues when people step forward.

📅 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING — Tuesday, October 6th at 7pm
📍 Deshane Batting Cage – Whalley Athletic Park

As we prepare for another season, we have a number of positions to fill on our Board of Directors, and we need members of our Whalley community to consider getting involved.

You don't need decades of baseball experience. We need parents, grandparents, coaches and community members who care about our kids and are willing to contribute their time, ideas and energy.

Every generation of Whalley Little League has had volunteers who stepped up so the next generation of kids could have the same opportunities.

Now it’s our turn to carry that legacy forward.

Our responsibility is to make sure Whalley continues to be a fun, safe and inclusive place for every child to play baseball, develop confidence, make friends and create memories they’ll carry with them long after their playing days are over.

If you've ever thought about getting more involved, please consider putting your name forward for the Board. Many hands make the work lighter, and every volunteer can make a difference.

Whether you're interested in joining the Board or simply want to learn more about your league, we encourage all members to attend.

⚾ The Whalley legacy was built by volunteers. Together, we can make sure it continues for generations to come.

⚾️🏆 WHAT A DAY FOR GIRLS BASEBALL! 🏆⚾️

A huge congratulations to all the teams, players, coaches and families who took part in yesterday’s BC Girls Baseball League Championships at Whalley Athletic Park!

The talent, competitiveness and sportsmanship on the diamonds were incredible to watch. Girls baseball continues to grow, and events like this show just how bright the future of the game is. 💪⚾️

And a special congratulations to our Whalley girls on an amazing 2nd-place finish! 🥈💙 We couldn’t be prouder of the way you competed, represented Whalley and battled all day long.

Congratulations to all the champions and medalists, and thank you to everyone who helped make the championship such a great day of baseball!

Come out and experience some of the best girls' baseball in British Columbia as talented athletes from across the province compete for a championship. This league continues to grow each year, showcasing an incredible level of skill, teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.

Whether you're a lifelong baseball fan or just looking for a great way to spend the day, you'll be treated to exciting, competitive baseball and have the chance to cheer on the next generation of female athletes.

Let's pack the stands, support these amazing players, and show them why Whalley Little League and our community are proud to host this outstanding event.

What a great day for the U14 Blue Sox!

The girls battled through a doubleheader against the D6 Ravens, finishing with a hard-fought 14-14 tie and an exciting 11-6 win.

There were big hits, outstanding pitching, and some incredible defensive plays all day long. A huge congratulations to our game MVPs, Ryan and Veah, for their outstanding performances!

A special shout-out to Annabella on getting her first-ever hit!

The Blue Sox head into next weekend’s playoffs sitting in 1st place. Let’s keep the momentum going! 💪🥎

🚨⚾ FALL BALL REGISTRATION IS OPEN! ⚾🚨

Why let the baseball season end when there is still more development, more competition and more memories waiting to be made?

Whalley Little League and the Surrey Canadians are teaming up to offer an exciting Fall Ball program throughout September and October—and we want your player on the field with us!

Fall Ball is an incredible opportunity for players to:

🔥 Receive additional instruction and development
🔥 Build confidence and sharpen their skills
🔥 Enjoy more game play and time on the field
🔥 Prepare for the age divisions that will govern the 2027 season
🔥 Make new friends and keep playing the game they love!

📅 The season begins around Labour Day and continues into October for as long as the weather allows.

Worried about other fall activities? Teams will carry larger rosters to help accommodate players with conflicting commitments. Registration is open to all new and returning players—everyone is welcome!
