Happy International Dog Day 🐶🌿
Today’s post is for the dog lovers in our community…
We’re celebrating the sweet pups who belong to our Vayusha instructors — the walking buddies, cuddle experts, studio mascots-at-heart, and unofficial wellness assistants.
And for those who aren’t dog people?
There’s always Downward Dog. 🧘‍♀️🐾

Postpartum movement is not about “bouncing back.”
It’s about reconnecting with your body slowly, safely, and with support.

Reformer Pilates can be a beautiful option for postpartum women because the machine offers both support and resistance, helping you rebuild strength, improve alignment, and move with more awareness.
Every postpartum body is different, so your practice should always meet you where you are. Please check with your healthcare provider before starting or returning to exercise, especially if you are recovering from a C-section, experiencing pain, leaking, heaviness, pelvic floor symptoms, or diastasis recti concerns.

Our September Reformer Series with Maria begins soon:

Wednesday Reformer
Starts September 2
10:30 am

Sunday Reformer
Starts September 6
11:00 am

Move with support, control, and care.
Book through the link in bio.

The outfit: yoga pants.
The fuel: matcha.
The vibe: calm but strong.
The mantra: one breath at a time.
The exercise: coming back to yourself.

This is your sign to roll out the mat, sip your matcha, and come practice with us. 🌿

Aerial yoga doesn’t always have to mean flips and flying.
In Aerial Foundations Flow, the hammock becomes a supportive prop to help you explore traditional yoga poses, improve alignment, deepen flexibility, and move with more ease.
This all-levels class stays mostly grounded, making it a beautiful option for beginners or anyone curious about aerial yoga in a calmer, more accessible way.
Great for joint support, mobility, mindful movement, and gentle release.

Cow Face arms reminder 🌿If your hands don’t reach behind your back, that is totally okay.
Use a yoga strap, towel, or stretch band to support the pose instead of forcing your shoulders into a shape that doesn’t feel right.

You may also notice that one side feels completely different from the other — also normal.
Support counts.
Small progress counts.
Your version counts.

A gentle reminder: you are making progress. 🌿
Progress does not always look like a complete life transformation.
Sometimes it looks like choosing a nourishing breakfast, even if you still enjoy your coffee.

Small choices still count.
Soft changes still count.
Showing up for yourself in little ways still counts.

In Meridian Flow Yoga, each posture offers more than a physical stretch. It becomes a way to explore the connection between movement, breath, and energy flow.

✨Seated Wide-Leg Forward Fold supports the Liver, Kidney, and Spleen meridian pathways through the inner legs. Physically, it helps open the hips, inner thighs, hamstrings, and lower back while inviting a sense of grounding and calm.
✨Half Butterfly Side Stretch creates space through the side waist, ribs, hips, hamstrings, and spine. It connects with the Gallbladder, Liver, Kidney, and Urinary Bladder meridians, supporting side-body release, deeper breathing, and a greater sense of openness.
✨Half Butterfly Backbend brings attention to the front body, chest, shoulders, side waist, and hips. It connects with the Heart, Lung, Pericardium, Stomach, Spleen, and Gallbladder meridians, encouraging breath expansion, posture awareness, and a soft heart-opening quality.

As always, the goal is not to push into the deepest shape. Use props, move slowly, soften where you can, and let your breath guide the practice.
