Surinder Lions Field Hockey Club

Surinder Lions had a successful showing at the Khalsa Diwan Society Abbotsford Tournament!

Our teams won the Competitive, U18, and U16 divisions, while our U14 team earned second place.

Goalkeeper, Gurnoor and Ekam were named MVPs in their respective divisions.

Thank you to the organizers for their hard work and for providing a platform that brings our community together through sports.

Morgan is apart of the Canadian national team representing them at the Junior World Cup 2025, Junior Pan Am games 2025, and Junior Pan Am Championship where he won goalkeeper of the tournament.

Canada's only three-pitch water-based field hockey complex opens at Tamanawis Park City Council celebrated the completion of a third water-based synthetic turf field at Tamanawis Park, making it the only field hockey complex in Canada with three elite-level fields built for high-performance competition.

Surinder Lions are proud to announce that Robin has officially signed a professional contract with HDM in The Hague, Netherlands.

HDM competes in the Hoofdklasse, widely recognized as the strongest and most competitive field hockey league in the world. The league features many of the world’s top international players and Olympians, making this a remarkable milestone in Robin’s career.

This achievement reflects Robin’s dedication, discipline, and years of hard work. Robin’s journey is an inspiration to young athletes across our community. It proves that with commitment, perseverance, and the right support, dreams can become reality.
