Arthur won the 🥇 U1800 section at the FVC Summer Championship 2026, increasing his CFC rating by an impressive 114 points!🙌👏

The kid 🥰 who played his very first tournament in February 2025 as an unrated player is now on the verge of crossing the 1800 CFC barrier, with a performance rating of 1871 in his most recent event. What an incredible journey!🙌

Ryan scored 6 out of 9 in the FVC Summer Blitz⚡️♟️ and increased his quick-play rating by 133 points.👊

Both boys played in the Open events and achieved these amazing milestones. 🥰👏

Linara and Lahan 😍, siblings 👫who participated in a local event in June, also had a fantastic run, winning the U8 and U12 championships, respectively. 🥇🏆

I’m so glad ☺️ and grateful 🌟 to be able to guide these kids in the right direction ➡️ and help them grow through this beautiful game of chess, a game that teaches them to think, plan, stay patient, and make better decisions in life. 🛤️🌱

No results come easily! 😓 It takes the right guidance 👨🏼‍💻👨🏽‍🏫, preparation, hard work, dedication, and, most importantly, the sacrifices parents 🙆🏻‍♀️🙇 make to keep their kids engaged in this beautiful mind game♟️.

Arthur and Lahan 😊 shone at the BC Inter-School Chess Championship, while Jayden and Ryan ☺️ delivered strong performances at the Greater Vancouver Chess Tournament 10.

Arthur displayed an outstanding unbeaten performance💪, winning 🥇🏆the BC Inter-School Grade 6-8 category and increasing his rating by 113 points📈, bringing him to 1679😎. Lahan 🥰 fought hard and finished in a tie for 🥉 3rd place. Both kids are incredibly dedicated, and their results reflect that⚡️.

Our little 🌟 Jayden continues to show remarkable consistency🥰, finishing 2nd (unbeaten) 🥈 in the U1300 category, while Ryan secured 🥉 3rd place in the U1800 category at the Greater Vancouver Chess Tournament 10.

Linara earned 🥉 3rd place in the 👸U8 Girls division at the 🇨🇦BC Youth Chess Championship in March 2026. This marks her second consecutive year finishing among the top players in the championship, having won 2nd place in the previous year's event🥰🎉.

Arthur ⚡️captured the Keres Memorial 🤴🏼U1500 🥇title in impressive fashion, remaining unbeaten with a score of 5.5/6 💪in June 2026.

With this outstanding performance, Arthur also gained📈 77 CFC rating points ♟️and crossed the 1600 CFC rating barrier, a significant milestone 📍in his chess journey.

Both kids have immense potential👏, and the Northern Knights Chess Club wishes them continued growth and even greater achievements in the years ahead🥰🎉!

🏆🏅🎉From glory to greater glory 2025 finished ✅ 🏁strong, and 2026 has started even stronger!🍁💪🎉

Arthur (South Surrey) won 🥇 the U1500 category of Good Bye 2025 event, scoring an impressive 8.5/9 and gaining 73 CFC rating points. A well‑deserved victory for this little champ🏆, with many more to come🍁🎉.

Ryan (Fraser Heights) closed out the year with a whopping 119 CFC points⚡️. He crossed the 1700 CFC benchmark while competing in the Good Bye 2025 Open Section🥰, and he also won 🏆the 2026 BC Chess Cup U18 🥇section in January🍁🎉.

Our emerging star 🌟 Jayden (South Surrey)🥉secured 3rd place in the BC Chess Club U12 Section. Many more victories lie ahead for this talented young player 🍁🎉.

Jeewantha 🥰 won the Sri Lankan 🇱🇰 National Youth Super League U18 🥇event in January 2026. He’s one of my longest‑standing students, having learned from me since the early stages of his chess journey 👦. This is yet another trophy for him, and I’m truly happy to play a meaningful role in his life 👨‍🏫 both on and off the board🎉.

Huge congratulations to Dulina 🥰 for winning the silver 🥈 medal in the Fraser Valley Rapid U1200 category! We are glad to see him achieving milestones in his chess career 🏁.

Dulina started with us around March, unsure about strategies and without a clear understanding of the game. But he was always diligent with his homework and the tasks we assigned. His hard work has truly paid off! 🥰🎉

🤴🏼Arthur (Tianyou) won the Thanksgiving U1600 Category and raised his CFC rating by 76 points. Congratulations! Your dedication and hard work are truly paying off.! 🎉🥰
