Faces of GHF - pt. 2 ⬇️

Declan and Sam - now Okanagan locals - are the new generation of GHF. They have been learning the ropes and helping out for a couple years now, and of course can never resist jumping into the shenanigans when the occasion arises.

Declan took home staff MVP this year, showing up nonstop and always being available to take on whatever we threw at him (including a mid event Costco run). These boys somehow still managed to go #1 and #2 in the race, proving you can work hard behind the scenes and still get it done on race day.

Huge shoutout to team Manitoba who completely saved our butts this year by helping with both pickup AND return of the pads.

These guys were here as riders but when we needed help they were more than willing to step up and get it done. We can't thank them enough for jumping in and helping make the event happen.

Faces of GHF - pt. 1 ⬇️

has been part of the Giants Head community for years. He first joined our crew as a camp medic in 2023, and since then he's taken on more and more every year becoming one of the most vital people helping keep GHF running. From radio lead and event photographer to camp medic and so many other things behind the scenes Gunnar is always there and willing to take on any task to keep the event running smooth.

We’ve got an amazing lineup of activities this year, but make sure you have the gear to stay in the action all weekend!

Don’t show up empty-handed. Pack these:
🪚 Chop Tek: Bring a spare board to cut and reshape (spares also available on site).
🚣🏼‍♀️Boat Race: Create a board that skates and floats. Trucks come off before it hits the lake (Chop Tek on Friday can help you build)
👔 Silk Screen & Crop: Bring blank clothes to customize and screen print GHF & PBR logos.
🔫 Water War: Bring your water arsenal (NO water balloons or trash creating weaponry).
🛹 Dirt Board: Bring something with big wheels!
🍳 Cook Off: Don't forget your cooking supplies!

These guys have been helping us provide the best experience for riders for years and have become a huge part of what GHF is.
