Let's Run Events

On the longest night of the year we experience darkness. Grief. Loneliness. Anxiety. Weariness. We think of friends and family who are suffering. We think of the dark, lonely places in our own lives.

And, together, we will move forward through the darkness.

Choose to walk or run. Alone, or with friends or family. Sign up for a one-hour slot, or two, or more. Run the whole night if you like.

Meeting in Steinbach, but open for free participation wherever you live. Donations this year going to Eden Health Care and their work in community mental health.

Monday, December 21 is the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, with 16 hours of darkness. In southern Manitoba that means 16 hours of darkness, from sunset to sunrise on the 22nd.

This is a night where we experience darkness. We think of friends and family who are in difficult seasons of life. We think of the dark, lonely places in our own lives.

And, together, we will move forward through the darkness.

Choose to walk or run.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to stand with this dear family again during the Longest Night Run. Ashleigh’s been fighting cancer for over 2 years, undergoing countless treatments and appointments, all while, together with Jordan, nurturing their 4 kiddos. Having spent the past 6 months in Rhode Island as a family for treatments, they could use our support more than ever.

Good morning! We sure wish that we had woken up extra early today and were setting up our tents, package pickup, food stations and Start & Finish Line. This is such a different race season BUT you can still run or walk today as you trained for! You can participate today at any time and from any location.
