The Long Range Enduro is back where it all started! 🚵

We’re stoked to be part of and proud to host the Cycle Solutions Awards Ceremony at the base of Marble Mountain this Saturday! A huge shoutout to all the partners, sponsors, volunteers and everyone helping bring this incredible West Coast cycling event together.

The race kicks off at 10:00 a.m. in Massey Drive, with more than 150 riders making their way through stages across the Humber Valley before finishing on Moonlight Mallet at Marble Mountain. 🏁

Come hang out at the Bishop’s Tavern Deck, grab a drink and enjoy some food served up by our pals at Boomstick Brewery & Alehouse. Even better — all proceeds from food sales will go directly back into supporting WCCA trails! 🙌

We’ll be open from noon until around 8:00 p.m., before the post-race celebrations continue at Pikers Place🎊

🏁 Race cutoff: 4:30 p.m.
🏆 Awards, prizes & giveaways: Starting between 5:30–6:00 p.m.

Finally the Joy Run Gantry made it back to where it all began!!!

Race starts tomorrow at 8am, as runners make their way to this beautiful finish line at Marble Mountain!

On Saturday, July 18, Marble Mountain Resort is honoured to welcome participants as they cross the finish line of the 6th Annual Joy Run.

Starting at 8:00 AM in North Harbour Road, Pasadena, this annual event returns to Newfoundland's west coast for the first time since 2023. The Joy Run honours the memory of Jody Joy, brother of Race Director Tanya Joy, while raising awareness for mental health and su***de prevention.

Show up to race. Show up to volunteer. Or simply show up to support. Whether you're crossing the finish line or cheering others on, your presence helps raise awareness, spark conversations, and remind people that they are never alone.

White Hills Resort – A Winter Legacy in Clarenville's 75-Year Story

As Clarenville celebrates its 75th Anniversary of Incorporation in 2026, few recreational facilities have contributed as much to the community’s identity and quality of life as White Hills Resort.

Nestled just outside Clarenville, White Hills Resort has become one of Newfoundland and Labrador’s premier winter destinations and the only major ski and snowboard area on the island east of Corner Brook. Owned by the Town of Clarenville and operated as a not-for-profit facility, the resort has provided generations of residents and visitors with opportunities to enjoy winter recreation, develop athletic skills, and create lasting family memories.

More than just a ski hill, White Hills has become a symbol of community spirit. Countless volunteers, staff members, instructors, sponsors, and supporters have helped the resort grow and thrive over the years. The facility introduces young people to winter sports, welcomes families to the outdoors, and attracts visitors from across the province, contributing to Clarenville’s reputation as a regional recreation hub.

White Hills Resort has also gained provincial and national recognition, including being named the winner of the Canada-wide Mackenzie Top Peak competition in 2023. The resort continues to evolve while remaining committed to providing affordable, accessible winter recreation for residents and visitors alike.

As we reflect on 75 years of growth and community development, White Hills Resort stands as a shining example of Clarenville’s adventurous spirit, volunteerism, and commitment to recreation. For many residents, learning to ski, snowboard, or simply enjoy a winter day on the hill has become a cherished part of growing up in Clarenville.
