We’ve had a fantastic morning at our Team Ascend Car Wash Fundraiser, and we’re not finished yet!❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who has stopped by so far to get their vehicle washed, make a donation, and support our athletes on their journey to the 2026 Commonwealth Karate Championships in Glasgow, Scotland!

We also had a couple of very special visits from the RNC and VOCM today! Thank you for stopping by and showing your support for our team — it means a lot to our athletes and families!

As we get ready to head back to the dojo for another exciting season at Avalon Karate, now is the perfect time for the Official End-of-Summer Gi Check!

🥋 Sleeves suddenly creeping toward the elbows?
🥋 Pants showing a suspicious amount of ankle?
🥋 Belt seems longer, but the gi somehow got shorter?
🥋 A uniform that fit perfectly in June looking a little snug?

After a summer of growing, it might be time to move up to the next size!

Give those gis a quick try-on before Fall classes begin so your karate student is comfortable, looking sharp, and ready to get back on the dojo floor!💪
