Soon-to-be-mamas of St. John’s: Prenatal yoga with Emilie Browne is back for the Fall, and registration is open! ✨
This practice is designed to strengthen and stretch your changing body and help your baby move into an optimal birthing position. You’ll work with your breath to calm the body and mind, learn yoga poses to ease common pregnancy ailments, and use meditation to connect with your baby, prepare for birth, and ease the transition into parenthood.
There will be time in each class to share your experiences, ask questions, learn more about pregnancy and birth, while connecting with others in this same stage of life.
This class is suitable for all bodies in any stage of pregnancy. Beginners and experienced yogis are welcome. 🧘🏼♂️
(All sessions will be live-streamed/recorded, so if you’re not in the city you can still soak up all the goodness online!)

Every person on the mat is figuring it out as they go.
You don’t need to be flexible, or calm, or “good at this” to start- you just need to show up with an open mind, and a willingness to try something new. We value presence over perfection always. 🌿
If this post speaks to you, and you’d like to see what it’s all about: your first month of unlimited yoga is just $60!

Happy Pride, St. John’s! 🏳️🌈
‘Ahimsa’ is one of the foundational principles of yoga philosophy: it means non-harming, and it asks us to move through the world with compassion, toward others and ourselves. It’s not just about what we do on the mat; it’s a way of being.
This Pride Week, we’re holding that principle close for our LGBTQ+ community: may all beings be happy, safe, and free to be exactly who they are — without harm, and without apology.
Thank you to everyone who marches, organizes, and shows up to make St. John’s a brighter, more open city to call home.
You are welcome here.
More love, always.
💛🧡❤️💚💙💜
