Registration for the Quidi Vidi Brewery Fall Outdoor Hat league is now open! Read all the league details below:

Games are on Sunday evenings at 7pm, 8pm, or 9m (55 minute games)
League will run from September 13th – October 25th (no games on Thanksgiving weekend)
Games will be played at King George V field
Cost: $30
Registration closes September 7th
Can register solo or with a partner – Mixed pairs are preferred, but we will do our best to accommodate same gendered pairs.
New for this league. Players will be put into smaller pods. Each week your Pod will be paired with a different Pod for make a team for that week’s game. The league winner will be the Pod that has the best record at the end of the 6 games.

About our Hat Leagues:
Our Hat Leagues allow you to play with and meet new people! In our Hat Leagues, you can only sign up as solo or with a partner. The Board of Directors will build even teams using players self-rankings. Rather than combine players of similar skill levels, each team will have a blend of experienced, intermediate, and beginner players fostering skill parity between teams and allowing opportunity for newer players to learn from more experienced players. Registration is individual – every player signs up and pays for themselves.

ICYMI - UNL Pride Parade Delegation – Location Update!! 🤩

The Countdown is on to St. John's Pride! 🏳️‍🌈 The Parade is this weekend - Sunday, July 19th. UNL’s delegation has been allocated to Zone B2 - Black for the event.

Join in to walk the Parade with us!! The event begins at 12:00pm. All participants are asked to meet at our designated area at 11:30 am.

The MZU Summer Olympics are THIS WEEKEND! Saturday June 13th from 2-5pm at Southlands field.

Solo games will be run carnival-style, so you can try out any or all of the games. Winners of each game get a prize and we’ll have random prize draws as well. No need to register, just show up and show off.

Details:
• Sign up solo or as a pair
• Space for 4 to 8 teams depending on registration numbers.
• 5v5 or 6v6 format, will be decided once we have registration numbers.
• Cost $30 per person
• Games at 5:30pm or 7pm. Times may adjusted based on registration numbers.
• League runs from June 17th to August 5th, with no games on Canada Day or Regatta Day.

The sun was out for MZU’s Summer BIY Captain’s Meeting and Scrimmage last night! BIG THANKS to all the captains for stepping up to organize and lead your teams this summer season.
