**Hurricanes Clinch Third T20 Victory with Comfortable Chase Against NSK**
Hurricanes registered their third win of the T20 league with a composed chase against NSK in a low-scoring but competitive encounter.
After winning the toss, NSK elected to bat first, but their innings got off to a shaky start as key opener Talha was dismissed in the opening over. Adeel and Zala attempted to rebuild, but Zala fell while trying to clear long-on after being set up cleverly by the bowler.
Adeel contributed a steady 27 off 26 balls before departing, while Nick looked to anchor the innings alongside Negi. However, Nick's knock of 23 from 33 deliveries ended in unfortunate fashion when Amin produced a direct-hit run out. Hurricanes' bowlers maintained relentless pressure with disciplined line-and-length bowling, making scoring difficult throughout the innings.
Negi fought hard for his 35 off 29 balls and, together with Ravi (16 off 12), added a valuable 38-run partnership to lift NSK to 128/6 in their allotted 20 overs.
The Hurricanes bowling unit was impressive, with Arnab leading the attack with figures of 2/26. Wahid (1/17) and Shakib (1/18) were exceptionally economical in their four-over spells, while Junayed chipped in with 1/18 from three overs to keep NSK under constant pressure.
In reply, Hurricanes began cautiously, reaching only 30 runs during the powerplay. Rahib scored 19 off 22 balls before falling shortly after the fielding restrictions ended. The game then swung decisively in Hurricanes' favour thanks to a match-winning 93-run partnership between Junayed and Vinai.
Junayed played an attacking knock of 44 from 33 deliveries, while Vinai anchored the chase brilliantly with a composed 52 off 53 balls. Although Hurricanes suffered a few late hiccups, losing three wickets with only six runs required, the result was never in doubt as they comfortably reached the target.
For NSK, Nick bowled an outstanding spell, conceding just 12 runs in his four overs, though he went wicketless. Prahar (1/30) and Ravi (1/24) were the wicket-takers.
Overall, it was an entertaining low-scoring contest in which Hurricanes showed greater discipline with both bat and ball. Junayed was named **Player of the Match** for his all-round contribution, while Vinai's calm and match-defining half-century earned him recognition as the **Most Impactful Player**.

**Hurricanes Secure 13-Run Victory Over Spartans in Thrilling Contest**
Hurricanes registered a hard-fought 13-run victory over NL Spartans Cricket Club in an entertaining encounter that showcased excellent cricket and sportsmanship from both sides.
After winning the toss, Spartans elected to field first and made early inroads with disciplined bowling. Hurricanes' openers Rahib (19 off 18) and Vinai (9 off 10) provided a steady start, but Gurvinder and Nasir kept things tight and removed both batsmen just before the end of the powerplay. At 73/4 after 12 overs, Hurricanes were under pressure and in need of a strong finish.
The momentum shifted thanks to a crucial partnership between Zidan and Arnab. Zidan contributed a composed 31 off 27 balls, while Arnab played an aggressive knock of 43 from just 29 deliveries. Their 62-run stand from only 42 balls lifted Hurricanes to a competitive total of 149/5 in 20 overs. Given the cold conditions and slow outfield, the score proved to be a challenging target.
In reply, Spartans suffered an early setback when Ali Raza was bowled by Rahi in the opening over. Wahid then dismissed the other opener, Raheel, courtesy of a sharp catch at point by Arnab. An early dropped chance of Fahad threatened to prove costly as he and Bakar rebuilt the innings with a 52-run partnership.
However, the turning point came when Fahad (20 off 23) was spectacularly caught by Imtiaz, who completed a brilliant backward-running catch. On the very next delivery, Zidan struck again to dismiss Arafat for a golden duck, putting Hurricanes firmly back in control.
Bakar and Saeed attempted to revive Spartans' chase with a valuable 39-run partnership, but Rahi delivered another breakthrough by clean bowling Saeed in the 18th over. With 25 runs required from the final two overs, Bakar fought valiantly to keep Spartans in contention. However, JT produced an outstanding 19th over and eventually dismissed Bakar, effectively sealing the contest.
Bakar was the standout performer for Spartans with a determined 42 off 49 balls. For Hurricanes, Rahi led the bowling attack with impressive figures of 3/30, while Zidan claimed 2/16, Junayed took 2/19, and Wahid finished with 1/27.
Overall, it was an excellent game of cricket played in great spirit, with both teams displaying strong competitiveness and commendable sportsmanship throughout.
