After 17 epic seasons, the time has come to step back from the professional Downhill circuit. It’s the end of a chapter, but the beginning of new adventures.
It all started in a small garage in a small town but with big dreams and a lot of passion. Those dreams became reality, exceeding all our expectations.
Even if our best results are now a few years behind us, it feels special to look back at the numbers:
• 1 Overall World Cup title
• #1 in the UCI team rankings
• 6 World Championship medals
• 48 World Cup podiums
• More than 70 Crankworx podiums
• And countless national titles and podiums
For us, it was never just about Downhill. We’ve always loved all the different forms of racing our sport has to offer, and we were lucky enough to stand on podiums across Slopestyle, Red Bull Rampage, Red Bull Hardline, Dark Fest, Speed and Style, Dual Slalom, Pump Track, 4X, Urban DH, Megavalanche, Enduro, and more.
We rarely chose the easy path. We took risks partnering with outlier brands, backing underdog riders, and supporting rider wanting to comeback.
Beyond racing, we’ve always done things our own way: quirky team videos, adventure trips across every continent, charity giveaways, our Dream Ride Share moto fully embracing the mountain bike lifestyle, and never saying no to a good afterparty.
It truly takes a village so huge thanks to all our sponsors, staff, riders, families, friends, and fans who made this journey possible.
Special thanks as well to all the local organizers doing the hard work on the ground, and to Red Bull Media House for helping take our sport to its peak.
Looking back, we were lucky to race during a very special era, one where professionalism went hand in hand with having fun.
At the end of the day, the stories and friendships built around the world will be cherished and remembered more than any results or stats.
