Got a great update from our good friend Steve Horvath up at King Pacific Lodge! 🎣

Steve has been absolutely crushing it this season, and the fishing on Milbanke Sound has been nothing short of incredible. Although... I have a feeling he only sent me this beauty of a Tyee to remind me he catches bigger fish than I do.

We're stoked you're having an awesome summer, Steve. Keep the photos coming, and we can't wait to have you back in the shop.

☀️ The summer is heating up and so is the local salmon fishing here in the Howe sound!

Lots of big Chinooks being caught and we're starting to see some Coho salmon making their way up the Sound. Currently, Chinook salmon are a part of a catch and release recreational fishery where all of these fish are returned back into the water, but Coho salmon are open for retention, so were stoked to see them start showing up in our home waters.

Come by the shop to chat about the gear you need on the boat and some tips and tricks for this summer's salmon fishing!
