Now that I have had some time to process everything, here is my 90 second recap of the BTS of the whirlwind experience I had on @abbyvscathy . With only 2 hours of rehearsals with @vicki.fletcher08 to come up with a TV competition worthy solo, and 4 days from being cast to being on a plane to Houston, I wanted to thank @lndcbrantford / @navesabonyi for being supportive from the first minute I found out, and my dance family, family and friends who made it possible for my parents and I to drop everything and chase a dream. When I was there, my amazing dance teacher FaceTimed with me several times to revise and rework my solo and wouldn’t have been able to do this without you, Vicki. I will forever be grateful to everyone who made this happen for me. I was so lucky to connect with other Canadian dancers @ellieldancer , @miss_mackenzie_p_dancer and @dancing_baylen during this experience and am thankful for the laughs, Uber Eats Jamba Juice, pool time, escape room chaos and the card games that kept us calm, cool, and collected. #foreverfriends I met so many amazing friends and got to witness some of the wildly talented dancers from all over the USA and I feel so lucky to have been able to share this experience with all of you.
