Tomorrow is our LAST Summer Workshop of the 💮EMBODIED MIND💮 series. Where did the summer go??

Tomorrow we will be learning about the Body Batteries, based on the Hindu Chakra System. Learning about the Body Batteries can help us understand why we feel so drained when we get a full night’s sleep, or help us organize our tasks throughout the week to maximize our energy. This Workshop starts with a 45 minute lecture with slides, followed by a 30 minute Moving Meditation with gentle stretching, and finishes with some short Homework prompts you can take with you to keep practicing. A full recording is provided for FREE a few days after the Workshop as well, for lifetime access to the materials.

Our 🤍Silver Linings Series🤍 consists of dance classes designed for ages 50+, but anyone can join! We usually hit a Novice/Intermediate level of dancing, but with a slower pace, gentler moves, less jumping, and slower spinning. You can absolutely still pump it up as much as you want, but the goal of the group is to take a more relaxed approach to our favourite dance styles 😌

Dance Alive is helping spread the word about the upcoming PLWA Golf Tournament in support of the Persons Living with AIDS Network of Saskatchewan.

PLWA does so much important work right here in our community. They provide a safe and welcoming space for people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS, while also supporting individuals who may be experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, isolation, and other barriers.

Their work includes things like meals and necessities, outreach and harm reduction services, housing support, education, community programming, and—sometimes most importantly—a place where people can feel welcomed, supported and treated with dignity.

Dance Alive Studios is a proud Community Partner with PLWA. We hope you can support their work as well! There are a few ways you or your business can help:️
