We promote a festival style format with events happening throughout August, September and October each season.

Saskatchewan Field Lacrosse League Statement
The Saskatchewan Field Lacrosse League (SFLL) confirms that the Yorkton Olden Knights will not participate in the 2026 season and have ceased operations. Yorkton was one of the leagueโs founding clubs and was established prior to the leagueโs inaugural 2021 season.
The SFLL would like to raise a mimosa to the good times and memories shared with the Olden Knights, and thank the organization for its contributions to the league and the growth of senior field lacrosse in Saskatchewan.
The 2026 season will proceed with five member clubs: Regina Southern Comfort, Prince Albert Prairie Dogs, Moose Jaw Tommy Guns, Saskatoon Bridge City Blaze, and Sturgis 9-1-1.
The league has finalized the 2026 schedule, and we look forward to releasing this in the coming days.

With the Prairie Dogs LC capturing the 2025 Harvest Cup, we officially have our first-ever repeat champion! ๐
The Harvest Cup now features 100 names, with 7 individuals earning their place on the trophy for a second time. What an incredible milestone for our league and its history.

Saskatchewan Field Lacrosse League Statement โ 2025 Season & Harvest Cup
The Saskatchewan Field Lacrosse League (SFLL) Board of Directors acknowledges that the 2025 season has experienced challenges with rosters this fall, resulting in certain games being forfeited. After careful review, it has been determined that the Yorkton Olden Knights and the Saskatoon Bridge City Blaze did not fully compete in the regular season and therefore did not meet the SFLL eligibility requirements for participation in playoffs.
This decision was not made lightly. In the best interest of the league and its athletes, the 2025 Harvest Cup will proceed with four teams: the Regina Southern Comfort, Sturgis 9-1-1, Moose Jaw Tommy Guns, and Prince Albert Prairie Dogs.
To recognize the efforts of eligible athletes from Yorkton and Saskatoon, the league has held a dispersal draft for the 11 players who qualified under SFLL eligibility rules. In addition, the Harvest Cup, originally scheduled to be hosted in Yorkton, will now take place in Sturgis.
The event will feature a four-team round robin on October 4 and 5, culminating with the Harvest Cup Final on Sunday.
The SFLL looks forward to an exciting weekend of competition and remains committed to working with all teams to return the league to full strength in 2026.

This weekend, the Saskatchewan Field Lacrosse League hits the road for Week 3 action in Yorkton!
โ Pro tip: Umbrella likely needed on the sideline today but the action on the field will be fast enough that the players will remain dry ๐คฃ๐ฅ
