Through our partnership with the Students Commission of Canada and the Art of Work program, we're creating pathways into employment, mentorship, and training for youth in Saskatoon.

Gloves Not Guns is a free community program for youth ages 12–24, offering martial arts, mentorship, food, and connection in a safe, welcoming environment.

No experience.
No judgment.
No cost.

Gloves Not Guns is a much needed community program developed by PIVOT Society that is designed to provide youth with positive opportunities through martial arts, mentorship, and community.

This is not about creating fighters or encouraging violence.

This is about creating confident young people who have strong role models, healthy outlets, and a place where they belong outside of the streets.

You don't need to have your life figured out. You don't need to be perfect. There is no judgment here.

Everything shared within the program is treated with respect and confidentiality.

Gloves Not Guns and Asylum operate independently and are focused solely on supporting participants and helping them construct a positive future.

The world can be a tough place.

Sooner or later, every kid faces challenges. Confidence issues. Peer pressure. Bullying. Failure. Self-doubt.

We can't remove those obstacles for them.

Our Youth Programs use martial arts as a tool to teach discipline, confidence, accountability, respect, humility, and resilience in a structured and supportive environment.

Kids learn how to work hard, overcome adversity, support their teammates, and carry themselves with confidence in our facility and out in the world.

Building and Rebuilding Lives. Restoring Communities.

Gloves Not Guns (GNG) is one of several community focused programs built by Pivot Society. In collaboration with Asylum Training Center they are expanding GNG to Saskatoon.

GNG aims to provide healthy direction and a strong support system for youth navigating difficult environments and challenging life circumstances.

The program is designed to create a positive environment where individuals can connect with mentors and community leaders who care about building a brighter future for Saskatoon's community. All training and mentorship is free.

Ages 12–24
(Case-by-case basis for older and younger attendees.)
