The weather could not have been better, and we hope everyone enjoyed a fantastic day on the course supporting such an important cause! 🩷

The SGCC Women’s Club Championship took place this past weekend. Below are the results!
Our 2026 Women’s Club Champion is Kathy Pilkey. Kathy shot rounds of 81, 77 for a 2-day total of 158.
Flight Winners:
1st Flight winner was Cherie Armstrong with a score of 168.
2nd Flight winner was Rebecca Brydges with a score of 158.
3rd Flight winner was Sandra Vanos with a score of 174.

The SGCC Men’s Club Championship took place this past weekend. Below are the results!
Our 2026 Men’s Club Champion is Kalen Hellinga! This is the 1st time Kalen has won the Club Championship. Kalen shot rounds of 67, 71 for a 2-day total of 138 to claim the title.
Our Overall Men’s Runner-Up was Steve Brown. Steve shot rounds of 68, 71 for a 2-day total of 139.

1st flight winner was Graham Hill with a score of 141. (no pic)
2nd flight winner was Joe Sadoquis with a score of 154.
3rd flight winner was Dan Bennett with a score of 155.
4th flight winner was Jeremy Willems with a score of 159.
5th flight winner was Geoff Ainsworth with a score of 158.
6th flight winner was Glen Wright with a score of 154.
7th flight winner was Greg Maw with a score of 163.

On Thursday, August 13th we hosted our annual Senior Men’s Invitational Tournament, sponsored by Blackburn Media Inc. The event consisted of 120 participants, including some of the best senior male golfers from across Ontario and Michigan.
We would like to congratulate the following prize winners. See attached photos for each winner, accompanied by SGCC Associate Professional, Jeff Yates.
Overall Low Gross Winner, was Peter DiCarlo (Golf Canada) with a score of 68, winning in a three-person Shootout.

It was an incredible two days at the 48th Annual Pro-Am Charity Tournament on Friday, Aug. 7 & Saturday, Aug. 8, in support of St. Joseph's Hospice
We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our members, visiting professionals, guests, sponsors, volunteers, and staff who helped make this year’s Pro-Am such a tremendous success. Your support and participation helped create an unforgettable event while raising funds and awareness for such an important organization in our community.

What a day at our annual Women’s Member-Guest on Tuesday, Aug. 4! The theme this year was "Let’s Get Wild About Golf". 96 players participated and brought some serious creativity with bold safari attire and custom-styled carts.
