Hello Salmon Arm!

We are excited to announce that the Salmon Arm Tennis Club will be hosting two Women's Doubles Clinics this summer! The SATC has been given a Game. Set. Equity. Community Tennis Grants presented by National Bank again this year to give girls and women more opportunity to play tennis in our community. Not only will this grant encourage leadership within our players but also within the coaches that lead it!

These clinics are designed for players looking to improve their understanding of doubles strategy and tactics. Through engaging drills, situational point play, tactical and technical instruction, and coached match play, participants will develop the skills and confidence needed to become more effective doubles players.

To ensure a high-quality learning experience, each clinic is limited to 12 players and will maintain a low 4 to 1 player-to-coach ratio.

This unique clinic will be led entirely by female instructors, including lead coach Wallis Thomson. Wallis is a certified Club Professional with over 1,500 hours of on-court coaching experience. She has coached at the Salmon Arm Tennis Club, Tennis Yukon, and Tennis for Life in Coquitlam. Wallis is passionate about creating engaging sessions that focus on skill development, confidence building, and having fun on the court.
