Whether you’re starting a young horse, working through a problem, or wanting to improve your communication and feel, Dusty has a great way of helping both horse and rider build confidence and understanding.

Now that we’re off alert, we’re able to take in a few evacuated horses if anyone needs somewhere safe to go!

We have a small pasture that can fit up to 4 horses, plus a few paddocks available as well. If you or someone you know needs a place for their horses, feel free to message me. Happy to help however we can! ❤️🐴

Last night was something no barn owner or horse owner wants to have to go through, but seeing how many people showed up to help was incredible.

A huge thank you to Amanda Self, Ashtynn Rebisnky, Rhonda Rebinsky, and Carmen Teixeira for opening your facilities and taking our horses on such short notice. You didn’t hesitate for a second, and knowing the horses had somewhere safe to go meant more than you’ll ever know.

Thank you to everyone else who came to help catch horses, load trailers, haul, organize, make phone calls, check in, and just jump in wherever you were needed. Everyone worked together making things go so much smoother.

All of our horses are safe, and that’s what is most important. We are so lucky to have such amazing people around us.

Join us for private lessons and first rides on Friday, followed by a weekend horsemanship clinic focused on building better communication, softness, and feel with your horse.

Rider spots are limited and a $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot.

Auditing available all weekend as well.

We’re excited to welcome Dusty Harvey of Kissing Horse Ranch (Westlock, Alberta) to Salmon Arm for a hands-on Horsemanship Clinic at Salmon Valley Farm!

Dusty brings a supportive, practical approach to horsemanship helping riders of all levels and disciplines build confidence, improve communication, and develop real-world skills with their horses.

🕘 Clinic Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (both days)

✨ Clinic Focus:
• Horsemanship fundamentals (all disciplines)
• Troubleshooting on the ground & under saddle
• Working with young horses

💥 Bonus Opportunity:
Private sessions available Friday, May 29
Perfect for first rides or more one-on-one time!

💲 Pricing:
• Clinic (includes lunch): $495
• First rides/private sessions: $250
• Auditors welcome: $10/day
