Gordon’s Impromptu Cycle #1 inspired 10 SJOE members to navigate 42 kms of loose gravel, narrow shortcuts, and city streets to embrace the peaceful beauty of Spruce Lake Trail. Upon returning to Moosehead Brewery, the group enjoyed a cool beverage and complimentary pizza from their fearless leader! Thank you Gordon! A perfect day to bike!

On Sunday, August 30th, 13 SJOE members gathered for an amazing adventure on trails in St. Martins to the Irish River where we travelled 2 kilometres through the rocky river before connecting to dry land and finished the trek through beautiful woodlands.

We had such a great day in Sussex today!! Thank you to Lorraine Po***ck for leading 41 SJOE members on a Sussex murals tour. Following this informative two hour tour 30 members enjoyed a delicious lunch at Sussex Ale Works/ 600.
But that did not complete the day for some...24 members then completed a 10.5 km hike along the Trout Creek walking trail to Sussex Corner where we enjoyed viewing 4 more murals.
Three SJOE members also enjoyed the trails on their bikes.
It was a beautiful day that offered something for everyone.

It is hard to believe, but tonight's hike marks the end of the SJOE's Wednesday evening summer hikes!
Thank you Gail for organizing and leading 12 of us on the pretty Rockwood Park trails of May Flower Lake and Rockpile. It was a great hike!

11 SJOE members enjoyed a great 7.55 km hike this evening around Lily Lake and along the Zoo trail.
It was a beautiful evening shared with great company and filled with lots of laughs.
