We may not be back on the ice just yet, but things are already getting underway behind the scenes as we prepare for another exciting season! ⛸️💙

Coaches Kaitie, Brianna, and Jillian were in Fredericton yesterday attending the National Ice Dance Initiative Coach Seminar, offered by Skate Canada / Patinage Canada in partnership with Skate NB / Patinage NB .

Our coaches are always looking for opportunities to grow their skills, strengthen their coaching strategies, and expand their technical knowledge so they can continue to support our skaters both on and off the ice.

We’re so grateful for their dedication, passion, and commitment to our skaters and to the sport! 💙

A big thank you to the Star 1-5 skaters who joined us and supported the coaches throughout their training. Your participation provided an important hands-on learning experience and helped make the weekend a success.

Whether your skater is taking their very first steps on the ice, building confidence and skating skills, working toward figure skating goals, or looking to improve their hockey or ringette skills — there's a place for them at SJSC.

Now that we’ve had a chance to reflect on the season, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this year so special! 💙

From welcoming so many new families and growing our club, to launching our new PowerSkate 🏒 program, hosting our Family Skates, and performing at Rockwood Glows for the very first time - this season has truly been one to remember. 🌟

We’re so proud of all our skaters, especially those who stepped onto the competition ice for the first time, and our PreCanSkate and CanSkate skaters who showed amazing growth, confidence, and joy all season long.

A special thank you to our amazing coaches Kaitie, Brianna, Kim, Jillian and Ashlee. Your dedication, patience and passion for sharing your knowledge in a fun, encouraging way is what truly holds our club together. You are not only building strong skaters, but confident, resilient individuals, and we are so grateful for everything you do. 💙

And a huge thank you to our dedicated Program Assistants and amazing volunteers. You are the heart of everything we do, and we truly couldn’t do it without you. 👏

Every step, every fall, every achievement—this season meant something special. And we’re so proud of every single skater.
