In a wet and rainy Sunday afternoon matchup, the Brock Badgers men’s soccer team opened their season with a 0-1 loss to the Waterloo Warriors.

The Badgers look to respond on Sunday, Sept. 6 as they take on the Windsor Lancers in their home-opener, with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 PM.

Opening their regular season on the road, Brock Women's Soccer took care of business, defeating the Waterloo Warriors 2-0 in a Sunday afternoon clash at Warrior Field!

Jenna Parris led the charge, breaking the deadlock in the first half, before assisting Kate Halley for Brock’s second goal of the contest!

Madalyn is coming off an illustrious career with the Badgers, earning Brock University Female Athlete of the Year and U SPORTS Player of the Year honours last season while also being named a three-time OUA Player of the Year!

Back-to-back provincial champions! 🏆

Brock women's soccer head coach Zack Wilson led the Simcoe County Rovers FC women's team to their second consecutive Ontario Premier League title!

Capturing the championship with two games remaining in the season, the Rovers celebrated with their fans at home this past Saturday after defeating Scrosoppi FC 5-1!

This year's championship squad features four former players (Sabrina Bisante, Tia Schaffer, Marilena Spagnolo, Stefanie Young), two incoming Badgers (Avery Cafaro, Maddy Heeley) and current assistant coach Mike Russell!

After last year's victory at the League1 Canada Women's Inter-Provincial Championship, the Rovers earned a spot to the inaugural 2026-27 W Canadian Championship and will take on Roses de Montréal FC on Aug. 12 in the quarterfinal round!

Please welcome our newest varsity club coaches, Heather Martin and Joe Jones!

Heather brings a wealth of figure skating experience as a NCCP regional coach with Skate Oakville! She also competed as a student-athlete with the Western Mustangs, capturing an OUA championship!

On the diamond, Joe brings a strong coaching background with the St. Catharines Select U17 and U21 teams! He also serves as the head of the select program and a travel team coach with Thorold Minor Baseball!

Join us in congratulating Lauryn Bons on being named the new head coach of the Brock Badgers women's rugby team!

Lauryn was an assistant coach for the Badgers last season and has experience coaching with Rugby Ontario's 7's and 15's programs, including at the 2025 Canada Summer Games! She is an OUA champion and two-time U SPORTS bronze medallist with the Queen's Gaels and has played for the Ontario Blues senior women's team and in the semi-professional Premier Ruby Sevens league!

We can't wait for October! Your men's hockey team hosts their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6:00 PM versus the TMU Bold, while the women's squad's first home game is on Friday, Oct. 23 at 6:00 PM against the Nipissing Lakers!
