Happy September 1st everyone! It has officially been 1 year of Wonderland Equine being back in business. We are so grateful to every rider, parent, family member, horse owner and friend that has supported us over the last year. We definitely wouldn’t have made it without you. An extra special thank you to Millie Skipper for believing in us and providing such a beautiful facility for us to coach out of! Here’s to many more years of building connections and enjoying the magic of horses!

It was feet day for the horses today and I had a sidekick helper! If Makinley is around, Wrangler doesn’t care about anyone else in the room. He just wants his girl! Then she helped with Mac and his meds. It’s really nice to have a horse girl for a daughter 💕.

Last nights lessons were focused on balance and working towards our first off lunge line trot. This little rider has been working so hard all summer and we are so happy to be part of making her horse girl dreams come true!

One more sunny ☀️ photo from the weekend to cheer us up on this rainy day! I know it’s still August, but we are gearing up for a busy fall. I have a couple lessons spots available in my beginner adult groups! If you’re looking for lessons, shoot me a message and let’s get you some saddle time!

I had the privilege of coaching this amazing young lady at the first responders rodeo in Cochrane this afternoon! I’m so blessed that I get to call this my job and work with such amazing students, horses and families. Thank you for trusting me!! Swipe for the cutest picture of Mac and Wrangler co-regulating and helping each other stay calm through the chaos.

It was bath night for the horses tonight! The kids loved learning how to safely use a hose around them and the horses enjoyed cooling down in the heat! At wonderland equine we believe it is crucial to learn how to properly care for the horses and not just focus on riding.

I’m incredibly thankful to have such amazing clients! I wasn’t having the best day today but when my first student showed up at the barn with this beautiful picture of Wrangler and Chip, my entire mood changed. It’s these moments that make the hard work, sweat and tears all worth it!
