Get Your Tickets Today! Join us for a truly special evening of laughter, music and community as one of Canada’s favourite comedians, James Mullinger, presents his only public all-ages, family-friendly stand-up show of 2026. Click here to book now:

Taking place at the Bill McGuire Centre in Rothesay (or possibly Renforth), The Great Canadian Variety Show is a celebration of local talent and community spirit, featuring comedy, music, singing and performances from some of the incredible young performers from across the Kennebecasis Valley.

One of the highlights of the evening promises to be James’s own son, River Mullinger, taking to the stage to roast his dad in front of a hometown crowd. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like growing up with a comedian as a father, this may be your chance to find out!

Whether you’re eight or eighty, this promises to be an unforgettable evening packed with laughs, surprises and plenty of heart. Best of all, every ticket sold helps support the Kennebecasis Paddling Centre, one of New Brunswick’s great community sporting organizations. Founded in 1982, the club introduces hundreds of young people to kayaking and canoeing every year, giving children the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence, stay active and develop lifelong friendships. Many young paddlers simply enjoy being out on the beautiful Kennebecasis River, while others go on to compete at provincial, national and even international levels. The Centre is run by a dedicated volunteer board and relies heavily on community fundraising to ensure its programs remain accessible for local families.

You’ll leave smiling - and you’ll be helping the next generation of paddlers launch their own adventures on the water.

Book early - this is guaranteed to be one of the most enjoyable community events of the year!

Tickets are just $25 for a limited time only and there is no HST tax on top so please do book now!
