Tani Koi Judo

Intermediate/Advanced Class

This class is for ages 9 (with orange belt or higher) to Adult. In this class they work on basic techniques but advance to a higher level of throws and grappling techniques.

At this stage we help promote those judokas interest in a higher level of competitiveness.

Our Youth 1 and Youth 2 classes are for young judokas 7-12 years of age from beginner to yellow/orange belt.

These classes teach the fundamentals of judo through fun activities. They also encourage
competitiveness through sportsmanship, hard work, and determination. Judokas develop a new set of skills and make long-lasting friendships.

Kinder Class

Our littlest judokas start out in our Kinder Class where they learn judo techniques through age appropriate exercises and games. They develop confidence and self-esteem while building new friendships.

Summer judo for Monday this week has been moved to Tuesday, August 4th due to the NB Day long weekend.
Wednesday class remains the same.

Class schedule for 2026-2027 season

Registration for the 2026-2027 judo season is now open!

This year, we are using a registration software called TeamLinkt for all of our registrations and payments. Please download this app and set up a profile for you and your kids. This will allow you to check the app for updates, make payments easier, and allow us to communicate more effectively with you. The link to register is below.

There is a spot in the payment section to accept or decline insurance. This is through the app and not part of Tani Koi Judo. Please decline this payment before processing.

Once you are registered, you will be rostered into a team and then you can view everything on the app. You will still need to fill out the paper Judo NB form which we will have available on the first day of classes.

The tentative schedule (subject to change due to registration numbers, etc) is:

Kinder Class (4-6 year olds) - Sundays at 10am

Youth 1 Class (7-8 year olds) - Tuesdays and Thursday at 6pm-7pm

Youth 2 Class (9-12 year olds, beginner to yellow/orange belt) Tuesdays and Thursdays 710pm-810pm

Intermediate/Advanced Class (9 year olds, orange belt or higher) to Adult - Mondays and Wednesdays 7pm-8pm
