⭐️💃 Season-end R-GAla 2026 - Dancing Through the Decades🕺⭐️

It’s that wonderful time of the season- a day when athletes, coaches, family, and friends gather together to celebrate the dedication, enthusiasm, hard work, and passion RGA athletes have put into gymnastics throughout this past year.

Each of our teams and members of our Adult Conditioning class performed original routines to hit songs throughout the decades. From the Jackson 5 to One Direction, they covered it! Congratulations to you all on your achievements and for a wonderful 2025-2026 season! 10’s across the board!!! Of course, the ice cream sandwiches and photobooth are just the cherry on top ☺️

Deepest gratitude to Richmond City Council members Andy Hobbs, Bill McNulty, and Alexa Loo for spending the afternoon with us. Thank you to our athletes, coaches, staff, parents, and our board of directors for making this event possible. Special thanks to RGA co-founder, Shirley Bakaway, for attending and presenting her ‘Gymnast of the Year’ award.

🌴 2026 Tumble in the Tropics Adult Competition 🌴

Gymnastics has (almost) no age limits! Experienced athletes from our Adult Conditioning Class competed at Tumble in the Tropics over the weekend at Vancouver Phoenix Gymnastics! We are always delighted to support our adult athletes in continuing to share their passion for gymnastics in the gym and at competitions. You inspire us 😄

🐻 Grizzy Classic 2026 🐻

Thank you to Kelowna Gymnastix for hosting us at Grizzly Classic this year. 🌞 Our athletes and coaches had a blast over the weekend- medals were won, new skills tried, friendships renewed, and memories made! 🥰 We loved exploring Kelowna, especially the Kangaroo Creek Farm 🦘!

Grizzly Classic was the last competition of the season for some of our teams, and we are so proud of everything our athletes have accomplished throughout the season❤️! Congrats on giving it your all and finishing strong!!!

Looking to hire a summer camp coach through Canada Summer Jobs! If you love working with children and have some artistic gymnastics/ coaching experience, we would love to hear from you. Coach training available before the position start date.

Musts:
✅️ Be between 15-30 years of age
✅️ Have experience coaching gymnastics or another sport
✅️ Be available Monday to Friday from July 13 to August 28
✅️ Love gymnastics and working with kids!

🏆️ 2026 Western Canadian Championships 🏆️

Once again, congratulations to our RGA CCP 8 athletes on being part of Team BC at the Western Canadian Artistic Gymnastics Championships this past week!!

Mira, as part of the CCP 8 Senior team, and Anika and Linnea, as part of the CCP 8 Junior team, earned second place overall 🥈🥈 We could not be more proud to have them representing Team BC and RGA. Way to go 👏👏👏

Thank you to Yukon Gymnastics for hosting the meet!! This was such an incredible opportunity for our athletes and coaches to visit the Yukon!
