This weekend athletes take on the adventure of the 88km relay-style race around Salt Spring Island in the Race Around the Rock Regatta!

This is a really unique event - go check them out !

Tomorrow you'll find us at the Jack Poole Plaza outside the Vancouver Convention Center for the annual Row-a-thon in support of Row to Grow programs across the province. These programs create tailored learn to row experiences for youth with cerebral palsy, and support the athletes to continue into recreational or competitive programs once they fall in love with the sport!

This past weekend, a record number of entries were ready to race at the Nelson Sprints Regatta.

Unfortunately the event had to be cancelled due to poor air quality as firefighters battle a growing number of wildfires across BC.

Nonetheless, thank you to the Nelson Rowing Club and everyone behind the scenes who prepared for this regatta to take place. Hope to see everyone back again next year with cleaner air to race in!

This weekend the Nelson Rowing Club is hosting the annual Nelson Sprints Regatta on Kootenay Lake. Umpires and travelling teams are already on their way from other areas of the province. Wishing everyone a great day of racing tomorrow!

From months of planning to long days on and off the water, your time, dedication, and teamwork created an unforgettable experience for our athletes, coaches, and spectators.

A special thank you to the Vernon Rowing & Dragon Boat Club for welcoming us to your community and for bringing together such an amazing team of volunteers. Your hospitality, enthusiasm, and willingness to lend a hand in every aspect of the event did not go unnoticed.
