What an amazing night at Rising Dragon Martial Arts. Celebrated a Student's birthday. Had four new students sign up for September Special. four girls, two sets of twins. Another little girl is doing a two week trial. Two trials signed into programs. With the Tigers in Trial Programs, in September we will have 9 new students in our Newly opened Tiger Program. Thank you so much to all those who helped at the Queensborough Children's festival where these parents were introduced to Rising Dragon Martial arts. Also to Ms. Dyball for dropping a flyer off at the Laundromat which got two new students introduced to Rising Dragon. Welcome back to Leon's brother. Welcome Mr. Reiter to the role of Program Manager, Mr. Reiter held that role with Master Hallie Frasers school many years ago so brings some expertise to New Student intros. Our Legacy and Leadership students are driving Rising Dragon's surge in New Students. You are just the best. To the New Students, it was great to meet you tonight and share a trial class. The American Taekwondo Association has so many training programs for Licensees, School Owners, and Students. Rising Dragon Owners and Instructors have taken advantage of and earned certificates in "Safe Sport", Su***de Prevention, School Management, and the three levels needed over 4 or 5 years to be a Legacy Trainer and Facilitator. I am 80 years old, (no that's not a type) Co-Owner of Rising Dragon Martial Arts, Administrator and Teaching Assistant. I believe that as long as you are capable you should learn as much as you can, refresh that learning where necessary and to that end I just completed another Licensee Certificate Program. "Level 3 Program Director." At Rising Dragon Martial Arts we firmly believe that our students and their families need the best we can bring them. All our Leadership and the Owners constantly upgrade their knowledge. Thank you Students and Parents for inspiring us to keep increasing our Knowledge so that Rising Dragon Martial Arts always deserves your trust.

Little known fact, I am a Hamilton Elementary School Alumni, 1950 - 1956 Mr. Lapka was the Principal and my two favorite teachers were Miss McKay and Ms. McDermid.
Hamilton Elementary was where Bethany Baptist Church, Richmond B.C. is now located.

Congratulations to all Rising Dragon Students who tested for their next terms you will have to wait your scores 😉 Those who did a full rank test, you will wait for ATA Headquarters to process your testing.

A big shout out to "Twenty16" and Tannis Campbell for the wonderful cupcakes and cookies she sent for the students, parents and Instructors. WATCH for "Twenty16 Cafe and Bakery" to open soon in the Hamilton Village new Units. Hint its one of the first units from Westminster Highway. Ma'am you spoil us and we love it.
