Richmond Hill Hockey Association

The Richmond Hill Hockey Referees Association (RHHRA) is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 season. The association will be hosting tryouts and interviews on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Ed Sackfield Arena.

Current and former hockey players from the Richmond Hill Hockey Association are strongly encouraged to apply. The officiating program continues to prioritize individuals who are strong skaters, in excellent physical condition, and demonstrate a strong interest in officiating at a high level.

Officiating offers a competitive pathway to remain involved in the game while progressing to higher levels of hockey.

The RHHRA is committed to maintaining its reputation as one of Ontario’s premier officiating programs. The purpose of the tryout process is to identify promising officiating candidates and maintain a pipeline of skilled, passionate, and high-performing officials.

Congratulations to U13AA Assistant Coach Anthony Pacione on winning a Richmond Hill Sports Hall of Fame 2026 Sports Champion Coach Award. Anthony grew up playing high level hockey in Richmond Hill. He is now raising his family in town, and has been a Jags coach for many years, developing a new generation of Jags. Congrats Anthony and thank you for everything you do to grow hockey in Richmond Hill and help young athletes.
