Proud of the crew that came out to AVA. We don't always have competitions close to us, so our "local" tournaments end up being 2 hrs away.

We're hosting a friendly quintet exhibition match with our homies . Saturday August 23rd our open mat will extend into a 5 v 5 quintet match, followed by more open mat rolls and an afternoon BBQ.

Last class in our current location! 's girls showed up to train and it was an awesome time.
We had more colored belts on the mats than white belts.

What a promotion night we had last night! We had the pleasure to promote 4 of our students to Blue belt and also give out our first home grown purple belt along with a couple of stripes!

We might not have as many classes or students as some bigger gyms but with dedication and time on the mats we're able to acquire skills and push everyone to their best Jiu Jitsu self!

We even have the pleasure of hosting some friends from Brazil who were on a snowboard trip to our mountain town. Portuguese language barrier aside we shared some techniques and made new connections.

What a night on the mats! Oss.

Coach Sam is away for a month so we went hard at the last no-gi sesh. Let's level up in October! 💪💪
