Bill Baker was a force on the field, playing for the Green & White from 1968–1973 and again from 1977–1978. He later returned to the organization as General Manager from 1987–1988

He earned the nickname “The Undertaker”

From player to front-office leader, Baker left his mark on Rider history.

What did you do with your seats from Taylor Field?
When the old stadium came down, a lot of Rider fans found creative ways to give their seats a second life.
Some became part of man caves, garages, patios, or even furniture, keeping a little piece of Taylor Field around.

Henry Burris put on a clinic at Taylor Field, leading the Green and White to a 46-16 blowout over the Calgary Stampeders!
Hank accounted for four total touchdowns on the day running one in and tossing three TD strikes, including two to Travis Moore and a 46-yard bomb to Kenton Keith

Ed Gainey etched his name into the Saskatchewan Roughriders record books with a awesome performance!
Gainey set a franchise record with FOUR interceptions (and a fumble recovery!) against the BC Lions, including a 49-yard pick-6 in the 1st quarter.
Final Score: Riders 41 – Lions 8

ON THIS DAY — August 13, 1992

The Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the BC Lions 46-43 in overtime in one of the most exciting games of the 1992 season!
Kent Austin had a record-breaking day, throwing for an incredible 558 yards!
The Riders' receiving corps was on fire, with Ray Elgaard, Don Narcisse, and Jeff Fairholm all recording 100-yard games.
