A new dance season is almost here! A few little things now can make those first weeks back feel a whole lot better:

🕺 MOVE YOUR BODY
You don’t need to start training like crazy. Stretch, go for walks, dance around the house, just get moving again.

👟 BREAK IN YOUR SHOES
New dance shoes? Wear them around the house for short periods before that first class. Your feet will thank you.

🎶 GET BACK INTO THE MUSIC
Put on some salsa! Listen for the beat, find the 1, clap along, or practice your basic. Musicality starts with listening.

👜 CHECK YOUR DANCE BAG
Shoes, water bottle, hair supplies, deodorant, whatever you usually need. Now is a very good time to discover those shoes don’t fit anymore. 😂

💛 DON’T STRESS ABOUT BEING “READY”
You might feel a little rusty. That’s normal. The first few classes are about getting your body moving again and finding your groove.
