Reminder: Tonight is the final night for both Steel Target Shoot and Ladies Trap Night,

Ladies Trap Night It’s the last chance of the season to come try trap. $40 covers your guest pass, ammo, and one round.

Sunday Regular trap continues at 10:00 a.m.

Trap is canceled today due to weather. Sunday Trap will resume next weekend on September 6, 2026.

Please note that Wednesday evening Trap has concluded for the season.

Range Safety Reminder:

RFGL Members Buckshot is not permitted on the trap range. It is **only allowed at the patterning board, where it can be used safely.
Please also ensure you clean up your spent shells after shooting. A large amount had to be picked up on both the trap range and the patterning board recently, and this is not acceptable. Every member is responsible for keeping the range tidy and safe for everyone’s use.
Thank you for helping maintain a safe, respectful environment for all members.

Last Wednesday Night Trap of the Season!
Join us tonight for one more evening on the trap range. Shooting will begin as soon as we have five people on the line typically between 6:00 and 6:30 PM.
Rounds are $7 each. Come on out, enjoy the evening, and help us wrap up the final Wednesday night trap of the season on a great note!

Only two Monday nights left to get in on the action at the range.

In the Special Events Bay, we’ve got the steel target shoot running tonight just $5.00 to jump in and test your skills. The final night for this event is August 31, 2026, so if you’ve been meaning to give it a try, now’s the time.

Over on the trap range, it’s Ladies Night. If you’ve been thinking about trying trap all season, come out tonight and make it happen. $40 covers your guest pass, ammo, and your round of trap — everything you need to step on the line with confidence. Ladies Night also wraps up on August 31, 2026, so don’t miss your chance to join in before the season closes.

Duck and goose calls and how to use them
Waterfowl identification
Hunting ethics and regulations
How to clean and cook what we hunt
Decoys and decoy use
Retriever dog use and training
Firearm safety
Shotgun shooting
And much more!!

This day is open to all youth 12 years old - 18 years old who have successfully passed their Hunter Safety Course and their parents or guardians, runs from 9:00am until approximately 1:00pm, lunch is provided and is totally FREE to attend!
