Whether you’re a longtime lacrosse fan, a former player, a parent, or simply someone who wants to give back to the sport, our upcoming Coaching and Officiating Clinics are a great opportunity to learn, get certified, and become part of the lacrosse community.

Before we put a wrap on minor nationals and turn our attention to men’s field lacrosse nationals, we have one final congratulations to extend on behalf of the SLA. We all know that you can’t play the game without refs, and keeping good refs involved in the game has become a challenge for any sport.

This week at Minor Nationals the lone Sask ref in attendance has shown that we have some of the best officials in the country.

Congratulations to Jake Gyman on showing the quality that Sask refs possess. Jake was chose to work the U17 coed gold medal game, which is the top game for officials to be chosen for at the tournament.

Thank you Jake for all you work in Sask and at Nationals as an official!!

Today our teams wrapped up play in Halifax at the Minor Box Lacrosse Nationals. They all made us proud with their hard work, dedication and commitment to the game they all love! Our teams proved once again that they are some of the best players in the country!

Final round-robin games, quarter-finals and semi-finals in the books for day 4...tough day on the floor against some really good teams. Consistency throughout the week though has all teams playing for a medal on Saturday morning!!

Day 3 in Halifax in the books. A good handful of wins for all squads today! Some teams have a round robin game left early tomorrow morning and then the medal rounds begin!!
