The Regina Road Runners have donated all remaining money the club had to:
- Nature Regina
- Regina Food Bank
- STARS
Each group received a donation of $2135.
This wouldn't have been possible without all of you participating in past events!!!

The Executive wants to send a heartfelt thanks again to everyone, and although the club is dissolving, we will still see you all out at local running events!

Regina Road Runners - Crossing the Final Finish Line

After 33 years, the Regina Road Runners Club is saying farewell.

During our March 25, 2026, AGM, membership and board members voted in favour of dissolving the Regina Road Runners Club. It wasn’t an easy decision, but we felt the time was right to close the book on the club.

If you are wondering about the future of the Flatlanders Road Race, worry no more. The Flatlanders will continue this fall; but under the direction and leadership of Chris Tetlock and his club, Ultra Addiction. Watch for details on his website. https://www.ultraaddiction.com/flatlanders

We want to thank everyone who has supported the Regina Road Runners over the years:
- volunteers who have put in countless hours helping us make our
events fun;
- everyone who participated in our races, and other events, helping to make them a success;
- past and present board members who dedicated their time making decisions impacting the club;
- and the membership who supported our events and the club.

We’re hosting our Annual General Meeting on March 25 at 7:00 PM at the Regina Fieldhouse, Classroom #2, and we’d love to see you there!

As many of you know, things have been shifting in Regina’s running community—lots of great clubs and events are popping up, memberships have declined for the RRRC, and the Flatlanders race will transition from RRRC to Ultra Addiction next year. With all these changes, we want to chat openly about what’s next for the Regina Road Runners Club.

This AGM will help us decide the future direction of the club. If you’d like to share your thoughts, get involved, or help keep things going, your voice would really make a difference. Together, we can decide what comes next for the club.

RRRC Prediction Mile was a success! We had 17 runners + 2 impromptu add-ons - who hilariously ended up winning the event!

The winners (not pictured, and who I will call red shirt & blue shirt), were an impressive 4 seconds from their guess!

Next up was Lane - who not only was only 5 seconds from his guess - but he also ran the fastest mile for the night at a speedy 6 minutes and 11 seconds!

After the run, we enjoyed pizza, cake and visits :) Thanks everyone who could make it out for a fun event!

It's that time of year again!

Join RRRC for Prediction Mile at the Field House, Feb 21, 4-7pm.

Do your best to guess the time it will take you to run 1 mile on the track. The person who is closest to their guess is the winner! No watches or timing devices allowed while you run / walk - you must go on your "gut" instinct for pace!

After the run/walk we will gather in Classroom #1 in the fieldhouse to share stories, have pizza and to build community with our running friends!

This is meant to be a fun and casual event! Join us as the temps are freezing and wear your shorts for a run again!

Registration into the event covers the typical fee to use the facility.

The Flatlanders Race brings our community together each year for fun, fitness, and a great cause. And STARS continues to be there for Saskatchewan families when every second counts.

Dogs are allowed at Wascana Trails.

The format, once again, will be a bit different this week, but it will be a surprise announced at 6:10. We'll potentially be running longer, with 75 minutes allowed. And, there are 2 things you need to bring:
* a ziploc bag (small, sandwich size) or some other receptacle.
* headlamp (required)

We will gather at the Lumsden Hotel and Steak Pit afterwards to celebrate the conclusion of the 2025 trail series.

But, as long as the weather is good, we will continue to Fairy Hill on Oct 14.
